Reading Rainbow + Jimmy Fallon + impersonation of the doors = weirdly amazing!

Amazing what small things we take for granted….

“Sometimes the questions are complicated and the answers are simple” -Dr. Suess

I always go back to this quote and wonder… why is it that we as adults think about children’s books as being silly or non-relevant to our lives? Whenever I open a book and read with a student I think……. what is the student going to learn from this? What life lesson or answers are going to be given? Then once I finish reading I am often awakened by the fact that I have yet been taught another life lesson, no matter if its the 1st , 3rd, or 16th time reading the book.  It brings to light the simplicity of things and how complicated we often make those things that should be effortless. I hope that I continue to see life as a child in those tough situations and in turn realize that although the situation may be complicated or hard, the answers or conclusions don’t always have to be. :)
